Sachie’s Kitchen Meal Kits

August 25, 2016 by lydiaritchie 11 Comments

Sachie's Kitchen Meal Kits I have admitted it before and I will admit it again… I love food and if there is an opportunity to try food new foods then you will see me waving my arms in the air frantically trying to get whoever’s attention. So, when I was approached by the lovely team at Sachie’s Kitchen asking if I would be interested in sampling some of their meal kits, I couldn’t say yes fast enough and eagerly awaited their delivery.

Sachie’s Kitchen Meal Kits aim to bring authentic Asian cuisine into every New Zealand home by making the complex, simple. These recipe kits are Sachie’s (the creator’s) all time favourite meals. Her aim was to keep them traditional and authentic whilst making the most of New Zealand’s fresh produce. This has proved to be a winning combination.

Each meal kit serves four and includes all of your base ingredients – so your pastes, sauces, herbs, spices, noodles and /or rice. The only thing you need to add is a couple of perishable ingredients. Super easy in my books!

We were sent the Beef Rendang and Summer Rolls to try. Immediately, I was drawn to the bright packaging which transported me to the streets of Asia and I quickly added these to our weekly menu. The meal kits are easy to follow with simple, clear instructions. Everything is easy to tell, from additional ingredients you  will need to get to make them; to how long they will take (important things when you have a family and need to plan ahead).

Sachie's Kitchen Meal Kits Sachie's Kitchen Meal Kits I have been fortunate enough to have tried both dishes whilst travelling overseas so had something to compare them to; and lets just say they didn’t disappoint. We are really lucky as Sebastian is a great eater, and we were able to tailor the meal kits to his taste too, simply by leaving out chilli in the Beef Rendang and by swapping the prawns for chicken in the Summer Rolls. (Side Note: Sebastian loved helping make the Summer Rolls and I think it is great to get children in the kitchen to help, because they are more likely to give what they have made a go afterwards. The dipping sauce was a huge hit too!)

There are seven great flavours from Teriyaki Chicken to Laska to Thai Red Curry, I can’t wait to try some of the others, plus I can get them from my local supermarket – Bonus!

Sachie’s Kitchen Meal Kits really do provide the best of both worlds – authentic cuisine with fresh home grown produce.

Giveaway Now, the lovely team at Sachie’s Kitchen would love you to try their meal kits too and have given Always Made With Love TWO packs to giveaway. Each contains 1 Beef Rendang and 1 Summer Rolls meal kit. Entry couldn’t be easier just comment below with which one you are keen to try first.  Pop on over to for additional entries. Giveaway closes Sunday 28th August 8pm NZT. Terms and Conditions available here. Open to New Zealand residents only. Good luck!
