Oh, how things change when you have children…. Before Sebastian and Isabelle I would never have even considered decorating for a good majority of the holidays and for no particular reason really (Christmas – yes but not the rest of them). Yet, now that Sebastian is of an age where he is starting to understand what is happening I am all over the holidays. I want to see the joy and magic in their eyes. I want to make the holidays special for them just like I remember them being when we were growing up.
I want to read stories about bunnies and chickens. I want to craft and create (not just on my own but with them). I want us to do painting, sticking and gluing. So far we haven’t done much of any of that for Easter however, I intend for that to change as of next week. I have already dug out the Easter books and plan to decorate the house over the weekend. Plus I have lined up a few simple yet fun Easter crafty things for Sebastian and I to do together when Isabelle is sleeping.
Today I am sharing with you this cute Pastel Bunny Canvas that I have been working on during naptime this week. I am really loving how it turned out. I love how simple it is, yet how effective. It is the perfect piece of Easter décor because it can be customized to fit in with any colour palate.
I am really lusting after this pretty pastel lilac at the moment so choose that to be the background for my canvas, plus we have purple accents in our lounge so it goes perfectly. On a side note I am also using this colour in Isabelle’s nursery; bunnies also seem to be a recurring theme (because how cute are they) so this Pastel Bunny Canvas may just end up with a permanent home in there.
To make your own Pastel Bunny Canvas you will need:
- Canvas
- Acrylic Paint (two colours)
- Paint Brushes
- Bunny Silhouette Inspiration
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- Big white fluffy pompom
- Hot Glue Gun

This bunny canvas is adorable, and I love how you added the glitter on top. It adds a little extra pizzazz to the canvas!
