Two years old! I mean seriously, how can you be two years old already?!? It feels like just yesterday your Daddy and I were gingerly bringing you home from the hospital. Yet at the same time it feels like you have been here (a part of our family) forever.
Two years since we became parents for the first time. Two years of fun and adventures. Two years of love, cuddles and smiles. Two years since we became parents. Became a family.
Two of the greatest years of my life.
You have grown from a happy, smiling, bubbly baby to a fun loving full of life and always up for adventure toddler. You love all things transport – trains, planes, helicopter, cars, trucks, diggers, and cranes. You could spend hours watching, listening for and playing with any of the above. There is a tower crane down the road and we make daily visits just to take a look. Your excitement as the crane comes into view is infectious and you love to show everyone the crane.
You have taught me how to live in the moment and thoroughly enjoy it while I am there. We spend hours running, jumping and playing outside, exploring life and the world around us. There is nothing too big or too small that does not grab your attention. You are captivated by the world around you and because of this captivate the world.
I love your cheeky smile, the one you give me when I ask you to ‘show me your happy face’. You constantly make me laugh, smile and love life that little bit more because I have you to share it with. I know you will make the best big brother later on in the year.
