New Year! New Direction?

Personally, I’m not one to set resolutions. I mean they sure sound good at 12.01 January 1st but a few days / weeks / months down the track they tend to be more of a dark cloud hanging over you than something achievable; so I tend to avoid making them. Plus, I am also of the mindset that if you really want to change something in your life… then there is no better time than the present – so what are you waiting for???

I do however, find that new year for me is a time for reflection. A time for taking stock of where I am and where I want to be going. This year in particular, my focus turned towards Always Made With Love and the direction my blog was going to take the coming year.

So where do I see Always Made With Love heading in 2017; which direction am I heading in with this space my space?

Well… Always Made With Love is a Mummy blog (because lets be honest this is my biggest and most proudest achievement to date) focusing on family, food and lifestyle. It is a place where you will find recipes I love; the VERY occasional DIY; crafts; fabulous finds; favourite things; fun things for / to do with babies and toddlers preschoolers (seriously, when did my baby get so big?!?); my experiences and journey through this thing called motherhood; our daily life and my little family, including all those moments I want to cherish and treasure as well as all those moments I never want to forget – which I guess is sort of the same thing!

Always Made WIth Love started in May 2014 as a hobby / a way to document bits of our life; and has turned into so much more – it’s a community; a family. So whilst there is no ‘new direction’ for Always Made With Love for 2017as such, there is a clear one and that to me is better than any resolution.
