Please excuse the incredibly cheesy grin (guess that’s what happens when you are trying to take photos without a toddler and puppy trying to help you). Where has the last four weeks gone? It feels like time is going even faster now. And by the look of this photo I have totally popped out in the last four weeks.
How far along: Coming up 33 weeks, time is just flying by. I am now on to fortnightly Midwife visits, that makes the time seem to go even faster!
Baby is the size of: A bok choy – approximately 42.4 cm long and 1.8kgs (seriously who thinks of these things? The measurement is fine but relating it to fruit and veges makes me want to take a tape measure to the green grocers)
Feeling: Starting to feel bit tired every now and again. At this stage I am resisting a nap during the day as I can’t seem to sleep at night and I know which one I would rather be doing. But we shall see how it goes.
Symptoms: Some third trimester tiredness, nothing too significant yet. The heartburn is easing too which is a welcomed relief. It also means drinking water is becoming easier.
Enjoying: These last few weeks. I have been having this overwhelming feeling this baby may come early (even by just a bit), I think it is cause I feel so disorganised. So am making the most of this time. We are filling our weekends with family time and it feels good 🙂
Craving: Still a sweet tooth (does this mean anything?) over savoury any day
Missing: Wine and soft cheese – at this stage I’m not planning on breastfeeding so am taking a mini celebratory in to the hospital with me. Followed by a side order of cheese for Steve to bring in when he come to visit
Looking forward to: Another scan (I am sure we have another one to come) I can not wait to see our little one again even though meeting him / her will be even better! My Mum has planned a ‘Baby Sprinkle’ to celebrate our newest family member, this is coming up in the next couple of weeks. It will be nice to get together with family to celebrate. I am also looking forward to setting up the nursery which I have yet to start on. It will happen…
