Eighteen months – wow! We seem to have more and more fun each month and this month is no exception.
You love the outdoors and spend lots of time running around, playing with Schumi, riding your bike, chilling in your swing and thoroughly enjoying life. You are very sweet and pick me flowers most days (from the basil and chives plants), I sure love the smell of onions – heheh… We bought you some gumboots in the weekend and you have wanted to wear them ever since. I can’t wait for a bit of rain as I am sure you will love jumping in puddles. It is starting to cool down a bit now and the leaves are starting to change colour and fall off the trees – this will make our trips to the park even more fun with leaves to stomp on and crunch. Plus I feel a couple of Autumn crafts happening too.
You are loving our weekly activities and trips to Playgroup, Wriggle and Rhyme and Mainly Music. You have so much fun and it is lovely to see you interacting with other children. You try your hardest to keep up with the ‘big’ kids and are always running around making friends, it is so lovely to watch. At Playgroup you enjoy the family / home corner, the weekly craft and of course the play ground. Thursday’s are particularly special as we go to Mainly Music in the morning and spend the rest of the day with Nanny. You love your Nanny and it warms my heart to see you hold out your arms to her as soon as we arrive (I know she feels the same way too).
I love the above photo! We bought you some earmuffs so you could watch and help Daddy with the lawns as you love to be involved with everything we do. You spent the whole time going up and down our deck following Daddy as he mowed the lawn pointing out bits that he missed rather enthusiastically.
We notice you trying to talk more and more. It will only be a matter of time then there will be no stopping you. Your favourite saying at the moment is ‘Oh dear’. You will quite happily say it ALL. THE. TIME. Even if nothing is wrong and especially if you see dog poo on the ground – you wont stop until it is all cleared up.
You bring a smile to my face each and every day. Watching you grow is the greatest gift. I love you!
