Did you know the humble single use plastic straw takes 500 years to breakdown? Nope - me neither! For a while now I have been on a mission to reduce the amount of single use plastic we as a family use on a daily basis - things like swapping out plastic shopping bags for reusable ones; saying no to bags when not necessary; using stainless steel drink bottles for myself and the kids (and insuring I have them with us when we are out and about stopping the never ending I'm thirsty call); … [Read more...]
Chux – Helping this Mum clean since 2013
With all the thrills and spills of two young kiddies it’s no wonder Chux is my life saver. However somehow find it so hard to put into words their first year... ***************************************** My darling Isabelle, I know it sounds cliched but where on earth have the last … [Read more...]

With the recent weather bomb we have had over the country, I know most of us are still waiting for Summer to arrive but let me tell you, it will get here and when it does I for one want to be ready. Funnily enough, whilst I don't really care for the wind and rain (I know it's … [Read more...]
