Last month I shared one of my favourite rooms in our home – Sebastian’s Nursery. One of the reasons I love his room so much is it’s filled with lots of treasures and is created with only him in mind.
One of my favourite pieces (and I love the whole room, so it is hard to choose) is the ‘Birth Keepsake Wall Art’ which we got created for his first birthday.
These little gems are created by the lovely Melody over at MelodyArt & Design.
What I love about them, and what drew me towards them in the first place is how you get to create your own memorable piece of artwork to treasure. By being able to select your own design, picture, quotes and colours you are creating something truly unique and special with your little one in mind.
We wanted to create something that would go perfectly in Sebastian’s nursery now but that would be able to grow with him. The quote we choose is the one we had on his newborn announcement and he has always loved his blue giraffe called ‘Gregory’ so it was neat to be able to incorporate that into it as well.
I love it and it hangs pride of place above the shelves Steve made for the room. The perfect spot!
