A Coffee Machine and a GiveawayFor the long time now, Steve and I have talked about getting a coffee machine but truth be told, until a couple of weeks ago it was STILL all talk. That was up until the lovely people at NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and TerraCycle sent me one. Seriously, there was all sorts of happy dancing happening at our house.

To be honest, as much as I had wanted one of these I was a bit daunted by how complicated they appeared (!!!), huh, what a joke. They are so easy in fact I am sure Sebastian could work out how to use it, given half a chance. The other thing that always worried me about them was the pods. What do you do with them afterwards? We already live in such a throw away society, here we are adding to it.. So you can imagine how trilled I was to learn about TerraCycle ‘an eco-friendly recycling company that has become a global leader in recycling typically non-recyclable waste.’

TerraCycle have joined with NESCAFE Dolce Gusto ‘to help provide a second life for used NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® capsules’ through their pod recycling program. And it is super easy for you to join too. Simply…

  • Sign up online
  • Collect all your used pods; bag the all up
  • Print off a label
  • Drop off at your nearest Post Shop

It’s that easy and it’s free. In fact, for every pod that you recycle TerraCycle will give two cents to a charity or school f choice.
